Smackdown in Tucson was hype!
I was pleasantly surprised by the Tucson Arena as a venue. It has great sight lines for wrestling, and the crew (ushers, security) were much nicer and more pleasant than in some other venues such as US Airways Center or University of Phoenix Stadium, where you are often treated like a hassle rather than a paying consumer with a ticket. I wasn't sure how good of a venue that the Tucson Arena would be.
Pat Barrett put on a great show as well. They put on a premier set of matches that was at least as good (if not better) than what you'd see at a pay per view event. I didn't think they'd go through so much trouble for an event in Tucson. A last man standing match between Kane and Edge that went all through the crowd, plus a 2 out of 3 falls match between Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio? Are you kidding? Those will be some of the best matches of Smackdown for the entire year. Awesome event and a really nice venue!
